The Gold Version also offers the following features ...
  • Export individual barcodes as bitmaps to Clipboard or Disk.
  • Import data from MS-Access 97 databases, comma and tab delimited text files.
  • Generate Catalogue Items to store extended product information (Product Description, Date of Purchase, Supplier, Cost Price, List Price etc.) and print a compact, computer generated, numerical barcode.
  • Scan or type in Catalogue Items' barcode to instantly retrieve original data

This label demonstrates the auto-updating serial number field. The serial number can be printed as text, as a barcode or barcode with text as in this example. This label also shows that you can have different barcode symbologies on the same label - in this case both Code 128B and Code 39E have been used.

This screenshot shows a simple text label, with drop shadow text created by overlaying red '6ft Christmas Tree' text over the same text printed in black. Reverse-outs are easily created - in this case white text printed over a red rectangle.

In this view, you will note the second 'special' text code - below the 'Best Before' wording. By typing [#DTnn], the text, when printed is converted to the date in nn days' time (in this case 65 days). You can also see the red 'magnetic' rules. These rules allow objects to automatically 'jump' to the line to make aligning objects (text, pictures, barcodes etc.) when creating labels a breeze.

With the Gold Version, you can import data from external data files - Access databases and comma and tab delimited text files. These two pictures show, at the top, the on-screen layout of the label and below the printed output. Note in the screenshot, the data fields have a blue superscript character. The data imported into your label run can be printed 'as is' - i.e. printed text, exactly as it appears in your database. These fields have an 'S' (standard) superscript. However the data can be converted to currency, comma delimited number format (1,000.00) or, as in this case, as a barcode. For this mailing label, we are printing the PostNet barcode of the addressee's zip code.

Also with the Gold Version, you can store up to six lines of up to 75 characters each and print a compact, reliable barcode with the computer generated code. In this screenshot, all the information shown in the screen will be stored in the internal database and a barcode of '1012' will be generated. Simply scan the barcode, or type in the reference number at a later date to instantly retrieve this data.
